We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our Finance team in accounting operations, compliance activities, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), month-end close activities, statutory compliance, audits, and finance transformation projects.

The intern will work closely with the Accounting Lead, and Senior Accountant to gain practical experience in a fast-paced multinational finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Assist in Accounts Payable processing and vendor invoice documentation.
  • Support Accounts Receivable tracking and follow-up activities.
  • Assist with General Ledger reconciliations and accounting schedules.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for month-end close activities.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Reconciliations & Reporting

  • Perform bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support data analysis and preparation of ad-hoc financial reports.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain finance documentation and filing systems.
  • Organize contracts, invoices, tax records, and approvals.
  • Support special projects assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

Education

    • B.Com / M.Com
    • BBA (Finance)
    • Equivalent Finance or Accounting qualification

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Good MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
