Title:  Ethical Sourcing Manager

The Ethical Sourcing Manager leads the delivery of Ethical Sourcing program requirements across assigned sourcing markets. The role is responsible for ensuring suppliers meet Kmart Group ethical sourcing standards through risk-based due diligence, audits, remediation follow-up, supplier engagement, worker voice processes, training and stakeholder collaboration.

The role also supports the ongoing improvement of the Ethical Sourcing program by strengthening supplier oversight, improving remediation outcomes, supporting grievance and worker voice mechanisms, and contributing to program governance, reporting and continuous improvement.

Ethical Sourcing program delivery

• Lead delivery of Ethical Sourcing requirements across assigned sourcing markets
• Ensure suppliers understand and comply with Kmart Group standards, policies and procedures
• Support rollout of updated ES tools, processes and program requirements

Audits, due diligence and remediation

• Conduct, review and oversee supplier audits, assessments and due diligence activities
• Support Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 supplier due diligence
• Track corrective actions, support remediation and escalate high-risk issues

Supplier engagement and capability building

• Build effective supplier relationships to support compliance and improvement
• Provide training, guidance and remediation support to suppliers
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier practices

Worker voice, investigations and external partners

• Support worker voice and grievance processes
• Support supplier-related investigations and remediation follow-up
• Manage engagement with audit firms, third-party partners and initiatives such as Better Work, Cascale, GEAR

Stakeholder management and reporting

• Partner with Sourcing, Quality, Risk and Compliance, Legal, P&C, Sustainability and Corporate Affairs teams
• Provide advice on ES risks, supplier issues and remediation priorities
• Maintain accurate ES data, reporting and governance records

Team, cost and continuous improvement

• Lead, coach and develop direct report(s)
• Manage ES activity costs, including audit, travel and third-party partner costs
• Contribute to improvement of ES tools, processes and governance
