Title:  Production Merchandiser (Pet Care)

KAS Pty Ltd (KAS) and Target Australia Sourcing (TAS) are part of the Anko Sourcing. We are now looking for a Production Merchandiser (Pet Care) for our GM Living & Sports team.

Job Accountabilities

• Responsible for merchandising activities including product development, price negotiation, sampling, production, shipment, etc
• Build and maintain strong relationship with buyers, supplies and internal parties
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and to monitor process at different stages of the critical path
• Identify potential suppliers’ improvement opportunity and govern the improvement plan implementation
• Perform sample testing and work closely with Quality team on product requirement in terms of functionality and safety standard
• Maintain merchandising systems to ensure production statuses are accurate
• Define the department level plan and prioritization and execute the projects when relevant
• Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of solid merchandising experience in relevant categories, preferably in sizable buying office
• Familiar with the Australian market with general merchandise & consumable products will be an advantage
• Sound knowledge on product, market and merchandising systems and procedures
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skill to liaison between buyers and factories
• Proven experience to be able to work with overseas buyers independently
• Self-motivated, with strong sense of commitment and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer knowledge
