Job Title: Merchandiser (Apparel)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

Job Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and development activities to support sales and product development

• Works cohesively with manager to drive and deliver supplier sourcing strategy

• Key external/internal stakeholder engagement and supplier base improvement

• Responsible for price negotiations, and therefore directly accountable for FOB price and margin outcomes of the buying portfolio assigned

• Help improve delivery accuracy and production timelines of our supplier base.

• Responsible for ensuring strong collaboration with suppliers and buying teams

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree in textile engineering or any relevant field

• 5-10 years of solid merchandising experience in apparel, preferably in buying office environment

• Familiar with apparel/garments/textile & supplier base knowledge

• Good understanding in sourcing/development/production process and quality standard

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skill to liaison between buyers and factories

• Self-motivated, with strong sense of commitment and able to work under pressure

• Good time management and able to work independently and collaborate with various parties

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Computer literacy

• Knowledge in data management systems, costing sheets and software such as DSS, GBSS, etc is preferable.
