Title:  Fabric Utilisation Specialist

Position: Fabric utilization specialist

Location: Gurugram

Key requirements:

• Correct calculation of fabric consumption based on best industry benchmarks with understaning of different parameters effecting fabric consumpiton.    
• Coordinate between souricng merchandisers and support negotiation on negotiation. Maintain a repo with sourcing merchandisers understanding feedback of suppliers, work on areas of deviation aligning with stakeholders and establish a simple scinetific process of consumption cost negotiation.    
• Knowledge of differnet industry benchmark while calculating fabric consumption and also the best practices. Knowledge of tricks on how to achieve better fabric consumption will be an added advantage.    
• Pattern making and CAD skills to support FOB negotiation with supplier. Initiative of suggesting better construction methods, fabric parameters for achieveing better fabric consumpiton will be an added benefit.    
• The role will require team member to shoulder additional reponsibility of managing change of driving a FOB based cost negotiation to a omponent based cost negotiation.    

Key Technical Skills

The role is expected to have key skills of pattern making, marker making and negotiation skills with suppliers.

The role requires the team member to be result driven, open to change, curious for exploring and executing updated market practice. The role is expected to initiate new projects time to time and implement best practices.

Industry experience of 5-7 years will be preferred.
