Title:  Merchandiser

We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our Apparel & Soft Home team. Candidate should take lead of the business assigned to them and fulfill all roles and responsibilities of production. Should have strong product knowledge especially in Knitwear, Denim and Jersey. Able to adapt change and work inline with company strategy.

Reporting to: Senior Merchandiser

What will you do?

• Coordinate with supplies to ensure on time delivery and to monitor process at different stages of the critical path.
• Perform sample testing and work closely with Quality, Technical & Raw Material team on product requirement in terms of functionality, sustainability and safety standard.
• Build and maintain strong relationship with buyers, supplies and internal parties.
• Maintain merchandising Critical Path to ensure production statuses are accurate.
• Daily management of Production area / Process including effective handover from Sourcing
• Travel to vendor and factory locations to resolve production issues.
• Manage shipment information ensuring Vendors on time Freight Forwarder bookings. Follow up with vendor until handover goods to Forwarder.
• Prepare merchandising related reports when required.
• Live the Target values and culture within the team and across the organisation.

What are we looking for?

• 8-10 years solid merchandising experience in Apparel, preferably in both Factory & buying office environment. 
• Vast knowledge in Knit C&S, True Knit. Preferable to have knowledge in Innerwear & Sleep.
• Merchandise Sourcing, Costing, Production and end-to-end supply chain knowledge
• Experience in Production Critical Path & tools to manage related milestones.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and innovative production management systems to influence vendor production efficiency.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skill to liaison between buyers and factories
• Proven experience to be able to work with overseas buyers independently.
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure with accountability.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer knowledge (Advance Excel, Power point etc)
