Title:  Merchandiser - Soft Home

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser – Softhome to join our Apparel & Soft Home team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end merchandising process across Bangladesh and Pakistan, working closely with buyers, suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver quality products on time and achieve commercial objectives. This role requires strong product knowledge across cushions, bedding, towels and blankets, excellent commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sourcing environment.

Reporting to: Merchandise Manager

What will you do?

• Manage end-to-end merchandising from product development through to shipment for assigned Soft Home categories.
• Partner with suppliers across Bangladesh and Pakistan to ensure on-time product development, production and delivery.
• Prepare product costings, negotiate prices and support margin objectives.
• Monitor purchase orders, production progress, critical path milestones and shipment schedules.
• Collaborate with Quality, Technical and Raw Materials teams to ensure products meet quality, safety and sustainability standards.
• Manage samples, approvals, testing, packaging and compliance requirements.
• Identify and resolve production, quality and shipment risks while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Build strong relationships with buyers, suppliers and internal teams to drive business success.
• Visit supplier factories to support production, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate merchandising reports and trackers and uphold the company's values in all aspects of your work.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years' merchandising experience in the Soft Home textile industry, preferably within both manufacturing and buying office environments.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, costing, product development, production and supply chain management.
• Sound understanding of merchandising critical path management and manufacturing processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with overseas buyers and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer knowledge (Advance Excel, Power point etc).
• Willingness to travel within Bangladesh and Pakistan as required.
