Position : Business Analyst Lead
Location: Delhi, India
Key Requirement:
1. Engage internal and external stakeholders (e.g., product owners, business subject matter experts, suppliers etc.) to gather, understand and document business requirements;
Analyse requirements and use flow charts to illustrate as-is and to-be processes;
Translate functional and non-functional requirements into epics, features and user stories and seek alignment with business stakeholders
2. Build wireframes/mock-ups if necessary to help teams (business and engineering) to understand and align on requirement and solutions;
Day-to-day interactions with product owner and engineering team on requirement understanding and prioritisation;
Work with architects and engineering teams to develop technical solutions for identified problems;
3. Play a contributing role to run projects in an agile manner;
Facilitate ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, backlog grooming, sprint retrospective with development teams and business stakeholders;
4. Present identified problems and proposed solutions to stakeholders in a professional and convincing fashion;
When required, contribute to the authorship of Business Cases for new initiatives;
5. Train internal and external users to use deployed solutions or systems;
Facilitate the business acceptance testing activities before system deployment to production;
Support internal and external users on requests, changes, incidents, and queries etc. in the business-as-usual stage post system deployment;
6. Coach team members to support their growth and development and help to build a highly effective team;
Lead a team of 3-4 people, allocating resources, solving problems, addressing conflicts etc.
Build a cohesive team culture, establishing effective working models in the delivery team
Traits/Abilities:
Strong communications, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, team mamnagement and presenting skills
Good proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Critical and analytical thinking
Comfortable with ambiguity
Fast learner, able to work independently with little guidance
Technical Skills required:
Process modeling and analysis
Requirement analysis
Requirement management/collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence etc.)
An experienced practitioner of Agile methodologies
Team management
Experience with software development projects.
Database knowledge and query skills
Years of Experience required for role: 7-10 years
