We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our Quality team. This position shall be responsible to drive key technical initiatives for the Quality team. Able to adapt change and work inline with company strategy.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive process change, improvements and best practice standards creation and consistent updates of manuals, standards, rules, and protocols.
  • Technical document, SOP writing and upgrade process and protocols – Quality Manual Updates.
  • Drive Quality projects - Technical audit upgradation, manufacturing excellence and QMS as per manager’s requirement and others as per business requirement.
  • Share ACCC recall notices and notifications to merchandisers
  • Coordinate technical and quality consultation with 3rd parties, trainings, benchmarking of product, testing & standards.
  • Support KGA in developing vendors to have rigorous processes in place to deliver goods on-time in adherence with the critical path, to required quality standards.
  • Governance audit follows ups, Auditing support and maintenance of registers.
  • Review of factory technical audit across Hard goods and Soft goods – Review of reports, CAP (Corrective action plan) and upload to GBSS/ DSS+.
  • Data analytics and reporting: QC Inspection Data Analysis, Monthly KPI Report, Business Performance Report & Supplier Self-Inspection programs, Monthly Quality Huddle and Apparel update, Quality claims/ discount data collation. Quality MIS reports - Cost of Quality / Inspection cost forecast.
  • Prepare notifications and warning letter, Quality Hub website monitoring, registrations support.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience with sound project management skills.  Business Management degree or qualification would be preferred.
  • Garments manufacturing experience would be an added advantage
  • Sound understanding of the regulatory landscape - Safety and mandatory standards across various categories
  • Must possess strong analytical abilities. Presentability & skills in Ms office –Word, Excel, PowerPoints, MS teams would be an added advantage
  • Proficient in both written & verbal forms of English,
