Team name: Merchandise & Supply Chain

Merchandise & Supply Chain provides capability of IT product development for Sourcing, Merchandizing, and Inventory functions of the Kmart Group's Retail business. The team generates insights that enables business teams to make critical decisions.

Primary Purpose of the role

• Extensive AWS and related Cloud infrastructure expertise Advanced knowledge of Java with Spring Boot and Docker.
• Experience of working with event driven architecture using Kafka
• Hands on experience with Node, ReactJS, GitHub actions will be an added advantage.
• Own the Engineering deliverables, including technical design, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Excellent knowledge of continuous integration, infrastructure as code, application release automation concepts, frameworks & tool
• Possesses high level understanding in the areas of application programming, API & databases, and system design.
• Proven experience regarding development of standards and processes for operations that proactively prevent problems from occurring.
• Demonstrated use of Agile delivery principles and associated tools (e.g. Jira), active participation in team rituals

• Led architecture and design of large solutions independently with some support from solution architects Actively participated in architecture forums and presents solutions.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement with the ability to influence product owners, delivery managers and architects.
• Demonstrated acknowledgement of responsibility for the performance of their team and the quality of its work
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams.
• Contributes to or creates solution designs encompassing end-to-end customer experience.
