Team name: Merchandise & Supply Chain

Merchandise & Supply Chain provides capability of IT product development for Sourcing, Merchandizing, and Inventory functions of the Kmart Group's Retail business. The team generates insights that enables business teams to make critical decisions.

Primary purpose of the role

Provide technical direction and leadership in establishing and driving the adoption of effective automation testing solutions and have a passion for coaching and mentoring others while being an advocate for continuous improvement.

Technical Skills

  • Karate, Gatling, Cucumber, BDD
  • AWS/Cloud Capabilities
  • ITSQB Foundation Certification

Work Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience working in Modern architectures (eg. Microservices, event streaming, single page apps, containers, serverless, infrastructure as
  • 3+ years’ experience in working with Agile frameworks and tracking of test cases and defects using JIRA and other test management software like
  • Minimum 6+ years total experience in the automation, development, and testing fields
  • 5+ years’ experience in developing automated test solutions using open.
  • 7+ years’ experience working in a large organisation, preferably retail and supply chain.
  • 5+ years software engineering experience
  • 4+ years leadership experience
