Job Title: Quality Improvement Engineer (General Merchandise)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

 

Job Accountabilities

 

  • Ensure all our products meet Australia standard contracted pp standards.
  • Drive ‘End 2 End’ (E2E) production process, Inc. pre-production process, production in-line inspection and end of line inspections to ensure product & process are compliance of KAS quality standards.
  • Train, conduct and support the suppliers and factory to build good quality production process to meet with Kmart, Anko sourcing’s manufacturing excellence and industrial standards
  • Guide the factory and vendor for quality process improvement (CAPA implementation)
  • Drive the application of the Quality Manual/guidelines MMS and HTM at supplier and third party and factory level.
  • Support and monitor product safety requirement implementation processes inc. needle and sharp tool controls, metal detection, and all aspect of child safety testing according to Kmart standards.
  • Ensure the factory have all development and QA sample reports and good records of corrections to contracted agreed standard, guidance notes to be shared at the PPM, all the PPM critical points are implemented in production process.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
  • 5-7 years' of working experience in quality control, business/buying office is preferable.
  • Familiar with Australian or European technical standard requirements.
  • Good communication skills both in English.
  • Strong integrity and professional ethics.
  • Self-discipline, good team player, self-motivated.
  • Frequent business travel is required.
