Team name: Customer Technology

Customer technology provides IT capabilities for Store and Store Team Member of Kmart. The team in India was setup in April 2018 and has constants grown to add more capabilities and team members. Team culture plays a big role in our team we collaborate, challenge and help each other for the common goal of how we can improve and excel. Being a part of a store with a lot of legacy system which has gone through fewer changes and transformations in the last many years so the primary focus of our team is modernizing and digitizing the processes. We always look for an opportunity to innovate and reduce the manual work and help out team members via technology.   The team rejoices when the store team members reap the benefits of our innovation. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Design - Produce functional and technical designs that address business requirements and consider environmental constraints
• Develop and Deploy - Undertake programming, testing and implementation tasks that meet agreed designs, adhere to required standards and are supportable
• Subject Matter Expertise - Provide support to business users, utilising business knowledge and technical expertise to achieve desired outcomes

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities/Technology Used:

• Having overall 2 years of working experience in Cross -Platform mobile application development
• Required good understanding of Android and iOS platform in terms of development lifecycle.
• Having Hands-on experience in designing and building  hybrid/ Cross -Platform mobile app development like flutter, react native.
• Hands on experience working with and building upon automated application building, testing and publishing pipelines
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Expertise in TypeScript or Java is an added advantage
• Experience in AWS / Azure is an added advantage
• Experience with the retail industry is an added advantage
• Must be hands on unit testing and familiar with cross device testing approaches
• Hands on experience on Android in creating Hybrid / Native applications
• Ability to lead change, represent end users’ interests and influence/motivate others effectively
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills – persuasive and open communicator

Work Experience:

• At least 3-5 years Programmer experience
