Mandatory:

  • 10+ years of BI/Data engineering experience
  • 2+ in data solutions in cloud
  • BI experience of 4+ years knowing atleast one BI tool like MicroStrategy or Power BI in detail. Also should have worked on hands on one of the BI tool and has done migration from one BI tool to another if BI engineering is the primary expertise of the candidate
  • Expertise in any of the cloud AWS preferred/Azure/GCP
  • Experience with Snowflake/Teradata/Databricks/Spark/big query/synapse analytics
  • Familiar with real time streaming data - Kafka/
  • Good with performance optimization of data pipelines if the candidate’s primary expertise is Data engine
  • SQL (4/5)
  • Python (3/5) (if Data engineering is primary skill)
  • Any BI tool (Power BI or Microstrategy 4/5) if BI engineering is the primary skill
  • Should be good with Cost optimization & control
  • Need to have data visualization & BI tools experience - MicroStrategy/Power BI/Tableau
  • Should be able to assess security posture of data platform & pipelines including PII data

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Data governance
  • Data quality framework implementation experience
  • CI/CD with terraform, GitHub actions/Jenkins
  • Experience with Airflow/other orchestration tools
  • Good understanding of monitoring & alerting framework of data pipelines
  • Knowledge of data science and machine learning platforms
