The Finops Analyst role will report into the Lead Finops Analyst in Engineering Platforms and establish the Cloud governance and Finops practice for Kmart group.

An AWS FinOps Analyst with 2-3 years of experience will be responsible for the full lifecycle of cloud cost management, from analyzing spending and identifying optimization opportunities to reporting findings, managing budgets, and collaborating with various teams to implement cost-saving strategies for AWS cloud usage

Technical Skills

• Analyze cloud spending across AWS accounts
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimizations
• Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings
• Manage cloud cost allocation models and budgets

Work Experience

• 2+ years of experience in Cloud Cost Analysis & Optimization
• 2+ Years of experience in Financial Management & Reporting
• 2+ years of experience Collaboration & Communication
• Consulting industry focussed on Cloud or Analytics
• Data analytics
