- Accountable for end to end delivery outcomes of Anko Global tribe
- People leadership and management of Iteration Managers
- Accountable for the status and reporting across the Anko Global tribe
- Accountable for key delivery metrics across the tribe and the continuous improvement of all metrics and processes
Technical Skills required:
- Have worked in a variety of delivery in Retail domain.
- Your breadth of experience covers small delivery teams in small companies (or start-ups) through to large distributed agile experience with large corporations
- Qualified PMP or Scaled Agile Certified professional experience in running multi-year programs.
- Strong attention to detail and a rigorous focus on delivering quality output.
- Provide direction and leadership in establishing a modern, productive agile delivery system
- Intuitive and perceptive with outstanding communications skills.
- Work with the Product Owners and Head of Product closely with regard to product roadmaps, program schedule and executive reporting
- Significant experience working in a large organisation, preferably Retail
- Lead and manage a team of Iteration/Project Managers
- Proven leadership of highly skilled development and/or DevOps teams in a line management capacity with extensive experience in systems product development &implementation
- Experience as a people leader able to support teams and individuals through coaching, mentoring, career planning, development and performance conversations
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and efficiencies in an Agile team
In-depth experience in implementing high performance development and Agile capabilities, and continual improvement of Product Development lifecycle, ensuring strong alignment to business outcomes - Demonstrated knowledge of developing software products in various environments from simple to complex architectures
- Strong understanding of public cloud technologies, CI/CD and their effective use to enable and drive efficient software delivery
- Provide direction and leadership in establishing a shared development and operations delivery model (ie. devops).
- Work with the Product Owners and Head of Product closely with regard to product roadmaps, program schedule and executive reporting.
- Provide direction and leadership in establishing a modern, productive agile delivery system.
- Maintain reliable program metrics for business reporting and to drive internal improvement
- Establish and undertake ownership of program level delivery processes in conjunction with other distributed delivery teams.
- Provide leadership to Iteration Managers and other senior cross squad roles
- Establish and continuously improve delivery processes
- Establish and maintain a highly motivated and productive team
- Lead teams to continuously improve all DORA metrics across Digital. MTTR (Mean Time to Restore). Change fail rate %, Deployment Frequency and Lead Time
- Responsible for team engagement
- Facilitate a regular agile program schedule across multiple teams
- Knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Expert in estimation and planning
